In 2003, Biz was invited to be a
teaching partner for Pros Arts Studio’s acclaimed youth circus
program in Chicago's Pilsen neighborhood. Since then he has been an active teacher,
directing student productions in both in-school residencies and
after-school program settings. He is able to lead students in many
types of performances from traditional school plays to large circus
style spectacles. Whatever form the final performance takes, Bill
engages students with an energetic style of theatrical presentation
that can tackle specific classroom educational goals or allow for
student created content. Biz was listed on the Illinois Arts Council's roster of professional teaching artists, and is now available for workshops worldwide and for longer programs in the Twin Cities Area of Minnesota!
Biz is comfortable teaching both youth and adult classes, in both a single age or mixed age format. He has developed a curriculum called "Circus Galaxy" that teaches the basics of physics through juggling. Interested in one on one or small group coaching for juggling or clowning?
